Republique
Republique is a theatre located in Østerbro, at Østerfælled Torv, with both Krudttønden and Revolver as its neighbors — three small theatres within a 100-meter radius. There are two parking spaces for vehicles with disability parking permits on Serridslevvej in front of Krudttønden, and two curbside spaces on Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads in front of Østerbro Stadium. Since there are many institutions nearby, these spaces are in high demand. To reach Republique, you need to go around the building that houses Krudttønden. There is step-free access into the building, and everything — the bar, theatre hall, and restroom facilities — is on one level. Inside the auditorium, there is step-free access to the seats in row 5, which is also where the wheelchair spaces are located. Access to other seats is via stairs. Since seating arrangements may vary, it is recommended to inquire in advance about which seats are step-free if needed before booking. If extra space is required, it may be possible, but this must be arranged before the performance, preferably at the time of ticket booking. There are separate men’s and women’s restroom facilities, and a unisex toilet marked as an accessible restroom. However, the layout and space in the room do not meet the current standards for an accessible/disability toilet as we know it today. At REPUBLIQUE, there are two wheelchair spaces available per performance (price group A). A companion ticket scheme is available for the theatre's own productions upon presentation of a valid companion card.
