Kongenshus Mindepark - Gåtur langs mindestenene
The welcoming of all guests is important to Kongenshus Mindepark and therefore they have decided to join the Danish label “Access Denmark”. To support your planning of a visit we have provided pictures and information about the accessibility in the factsheets below where you can read about parking spaces, entrance conditions, toilet facilities and much more. You can drive by car from Kongenshus Mindepark's Nature Center at Kongenshus Kro to the area with picnic areas, outdoor exhibition about the area, a wooden lookout tower with lift, toilet facilities and shelters. The walk to the memorial stones starts from the tower. You must be prepared for paths with gravel and that all paths in and around the tower are covered with wood chip. There are toilets available and a lift up in the tower, but due to the wood chip and heavy doors, you should consider whether you need assistance to get around. The shelter space is located away from the picnic area and consists of 3 shelters, a campfire and tables / benches. People staying in the shelters are also using the toiletfacilities at the tower and the running water facilities at the kitchen counter at the back of the house.
