Djurs Sommerland - Parking, entrance and layout of the park
Djurs Sommerland is a large amusement park. In the presentation below we describe the access conditions to the park and around the park. There are several presentations about, among other things, the layout of toilets and restaurants. Since we only provide information about accessibility in this presentation, we recommend that you always check Djurs Sommerland's own website, where you will find more useful information, such as a map of the park, borrowing an electric scooter (3 pcs.) or wheelchair, rules for using companion cards, show-consideration cards, etc. When you arrive at Djurs Sommerland, there are directions to a large parking area with spaces for cars with a disabled parking permit. There are 37 disabled parking spaces with fixed surfaces with room for more as needed. Cars without a disabled parking permit can be parked in a large parking area with a surface of grass. There is a fixed surface on all paths to the entrance. If you arrive in an electric car with a disabled parking permit, there are charging stations in row 1 of the regular parking area. The distances are large in Djurs Sommerland, as it is a large park. The distance from the parking area to the entrance is approx. 400 m. On the way from the parking areas to the entrance, you have the option of renting a pull along cart for your children or for luggage. You can pre-order or rent on site on a first-come, first-served basis. There are several ticket sales points on the square in front of the entrance to Djurs Sommerland, which are used as needed. It is possible to order tickets online from home. Everywhere in the park, the paths are paved with tiles or asphalt. It is possible to travel without slopes to most areas, but there are a few places with greater slopes on the paths over short distances. There are 8 disabled toilets in the park.
