Christiansborg Slot - Ruinerne
The museum does not have its own parking areas and guests are directed to use the public parking areas in the area outside Christiansborg Castle. There is an entrance to the museum from the inner castle courtyard. There is level-free access to the museum via a combined staircase/lifting platform (Flexstep) for ticket sales, museum shop and toilets. From the museum shop there is access to the ruins under Christiansborg via stairs or a lifting platform. Down in the ruins the light is dimmed and along the way there are shadows, dark areas etc. The floor consists of stones, which in some places are uneven and contain edge protrusions, but which are generally laid as well as possible in relation to being in a ruin. There is a small part of the exhibition where you can only get to via steps.
