As an alternative to assistance, Billund Airport offers an aide service, which means that an escort passport can be issued to a relative (family member, friend or acquaintance) who can then escort the outbound passenger to the boarding gate. Ask your airline or tour operator whether such a passport must be issued prior to your departure or whether issue is possible on the day of departure.
