In this way you will ensure that the assistance is available when you arrive at the airport. Please inform the check-in staff that you have ordered assistance. Billund Airport can place a wheelchair at your disposal from check-in to boarding. This service is free of charge. Billund Airport has a lift for disabled passengers who need assistance to board the plane. A personal aide will be given access to the departure hall before your departure. The aide must contact the check-in staff to obtain access. To ensure the comfort of passengers during their stay in the departure hall before boarding, no calls to gate will be made. The gate to be used is stated on the boarding cards, on the large electronic board in the departure hall and on screens at the various departure lounges, which will show the relevant gate number. It is important that passengers look at the board and the screens to see when it is time to 'Go to gate’ and when ‘Boarding’ subsequently takes place.
